Toolbar configuration

Explicit order, separators, right alignment and overflow menus.

1.0.0-beta.6 · Local build · desktop

Match the builder

Use toolbarLayout for the exact order you selected. A string represents one tool. A separator is { type: 'separator' }. At most one { type: 'spacer' } starts the right-aligned group. Menus use { type: 'menu', label: '***', items: [...] } in Base/Pro. Nested menus and duplicate tools are invalid.

Overflow

The desktop toolbar remains a single row. Tools that do not fit move into the selected menu or the automatic overflow menu and return when the container expands. Resizing does not modify the document or exported configuration. A simple preset has no user-configured menus.

Tables

insertTable is the selectable toolbar entry. Row/column/header/delete controls form a contextual panel; they are not independently draggable builder tools. Entering a cell activates the table tools. Deactivating the table mode leaves its content intact.

Legacy grouping

The toolbar option still offers the library's automatic grouping. Site demos use explicit toolbarLayout from the builder to avoid displaying synthetic Insert/Additional formatting menus. Options.
